Open Question: Why do liberals misunderestimate Sarah Palin?

Well they're making a big mistake, because this lady has won over Middle America in a way no recent politician has done. When she speaks, the people gather, when she writes books, they sell out right away....so why do liberals poke fun at such an accomplished lady? Are they just being sexist? Let's look, Obambi was the senator of Illinois (now, we every know that states have two senators, so he was able to have someone share his work, something a governor doesn't have because there is only one governor in a state; Alaska is the largest state in America, whereas Illinois most certainly is not; What takes more skill, governing the largest state or senatoring a tiny state; Alaska borders not one, but two countries, one socialist and the other communist. Illinois does not border any foreign nations, so why do liberals think that Obozo has foreign policy experience when he never had to stare down the Russians or the Canadians or keep socialism from spreading like a cancer into our society the way a person who has to contain Russian and Canadian influence has to? Obummer has only two kids and grew up in a dysfunctional family outside the United States. Palin was raised in America by a normal family and has five kids, something conservatives know how to do. So it's clear who has the family values!!! Palin cares about America, spends her time in America whereas the One jets off to foreign countries like Kenya and Hawaii and Indonesia every chance he gets. Open Question: Conservatives, can you do me a favor?

I have asked this question dozens of times, and have yet to receive anything but very, very few correct responses. I always claim that Conservatives don't know what Socialism is, and they claim that they do, so I ask them to prove it, and they fail 99% of the time, yet continue to think they know what it means. So here's the question: Can you tell me the difference between a left-leaning mixed-market economy and a Socialist economy? Bonus points if you can tell me which of Obama's viewpoints do not fit in a left-leaning mixed-market economy, and which therefore make him a Socialist!

Open Question: Does it bother you that so many Conservatives rail against "socialism" despite not knowing what that is?

First, I'm not defending Socialism, since to middle-class people like myself, it is just as bad as Capitalism. I just can't stand when people attack something they know nothing about. For instance, I'll bet a majority of the people attacking Socialism think it has something to do with removing religious freedom. It doesn't: that's fascism. True, many Socialist leaders have also been fascists, but the two are not the same. Second, many Conservatives think Obama is a Socialist. He is not: he simply favors a mixed-market economy which is further to the left than our current economy. Not once has he advocated a classless society, not once has he tried to takeover every private enterprise. Governments ARE allowed to possess some industry in mixed-market economies, and governments CAN tax the wealthy higher than the needy in mixed-market economies. Both of these Obama has done. Open Question: This this prove once and for all that Obama is a Trotskyite Socialist?

In his latest Obamacare speech, he said that we needed a healthcare system that works better for the American public than for the insurance companies. Think about that. It almost made me toss up on my tv set. If someone operates a business that works better for the customer than for the business, then that business cannot make a profit and it will fail. Example. When you go into McDonald's for a shake and fries and the product costs $1.50 to produce and they sell it to you for $4.00, they have made a profit of $3.50. This is to the obvious advantage to McDonald's and not the customer. The only way for the purchase to be to the customer's advantage is for McDonald's to sell the product for no more than the $1.50 it cost to produce and the restaurant would have no incentive to stay in operation. The only way that it would make sense would be for a collective ownership of the restaurant in which there would be no profit motive. (Public Option Anyone?) So it should be obvious that Obama is advocating Socialism. Right? For you weak minded libs, a business including a health insurance company must operate to the advantage of the business and not to the advantage of the customer, otherwise this leads to socialism. And the speech was rebroadcast on the socialistic PBS Newshour, using my tax money to spread this collectivist cancer that will destroy the American way of life. They must be stopped.

Resolved Question: The military, the police and Fire depatments are run by the government for the most part?

Are you not glad with that acceptable form of socialism ? Why then does it make sense for anyone or company to make profits based on someones health ? Military is non profit , so are police and flame and go about their jobs in a professional matter and never worry about profit margin. Wouldn't our health care system be better if it worked in the same manner not having to worry about profit margins and worry only about health of Americans? The 2nd amendment to the little girl who said I hadn't or didn't read the constitution. You are going to tell me our founding fathers might have put some stipulations or regulations on what nice of a gun you have a right to? You really believe they knew a gun would be capable of killing so many so quick. By the way the way government is bound to grow anytime the population grows same then as now. Our founding fathers were brilliant men but not fallable. Some look at them as equals to God, we every adore our country but I'm glad that they didn't write we should every bend over and drag our knuckles on the ground and never question the constitution. I would adore to go back and put our ever changing society and world and problems to our founding fathers and watch them tell you stuck in time tea baggers You need to revise and amend or change , we never envisioned 350 million people, terrorist, crack cocaine, the total bi parternship that is being played out by both sides but now it's the Republicans. Please note that between 1945-1946 Germans were purged from their lands in East Germany. The population of Germany did not decline, because so many were forced to immigrate into what is now poland. There were 8 million Germans killed by Stalin. These were not soldiers these were civilians living in what is now Poland. If Hitler only killed 7 million Jews, why is he the bad guy in most history books? why do we have socialism-marxist in our schools if it was a socialist-marxist that killed 8 million Germans.... I am NOT talking about the german war infantry causalties. I AM talking about the civilians who were living in what is now Poland, but WAS Germany, and were killed. The census does not capture the population loss, because many Germans were moved out of Poland, so the "german" population did not go down.

Open Question: What will the healthcare bill do exactly?

I keep on hearing that the public is so against the "socialist" health care reform and that Obama should not use Reconciliation and whatnot. I hear people on Fox news saying it will ruin our economy and be political suicide for the Dems while others are calling it a saving grace. Yet in every these cries of "socialism", "communist" or whatever else anyone calls it, I truly cannot look what this bill will do exactly. Will it be a single payer system? If it is, I don't understand why the American people are so against a bill that will extend coverage to more people and supposedly "lower the deficit"...and will it lift our taxes. Please clarify. Im interested to look the variety of opinions on this issue, as i know that it is a very heated debate.

Today, Barney Frank admitted socialism destroyed the housing sector and that the United States taxpayer is on the hook for $5 TRILLION dollars of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac debt. We also know California is in DEBT default. And it makes up a larger portion of GDP then Greece does to the EU. Ok, say youve set aside $20,000-$50,000 in gold.
